Little Math Genius is an interactive app that allows users to practice and solve randomly generated math problems. It is developed to help students enhance their understanding of math by encouraging them to solve problems at spaced-time intervals. It currently focuses on the foundation of Algebra I and will soon expand to other branches of math.

When starting new material, learners generally retain the most information immediately after studying. If the information isn't reviewed frequently, the learner will likely forget majority of the material. Little Math Genius takes note of the time a learner started practicing a problem, scores the learner's problem performance, and sends reminders at an interval that will help sustain the memory of a lesson. The idea is that if a student solves a collection of problems over a long timespan, he/she will have a stronger grasp of the material learned.

So why is Little Math Genius needed?
There is an emphasis on encouraging students to pursue careers in S.T.E.M related fields. A strong math foundation will equip students for such careers. Little Math Genius will help improve overall math literacy at a challenging, yet steady pace.

Why does the first course focus on Algebra I?
Algebra I is often considered the 'gate keeper' math subject. It is the prerequisite to higher-level subjects like geometry, trigonometry, algebra II, and calculus. And many, if not all, S.T.E.M related careers require a solid understanding of algebra.

Little Math Genius Algebra I Course consists of some of the following:
- Order of operations, evaluating expressions, number sets, adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing numbers, and the distribution property
- One-step, two-step, multi-step, absolute value, radical, and rational equations, solving proportions
- Properties of exponents, writing numbers in scientific notation, operations with scientific notation
- One-step inequalities
- Multiplying special case and factoring quadratic polynomials and factoring by grouping
- Many more
