Little Elephants / Elefantitos by Canticos is a counting app to help your toddler or young child learn to identify their numbers and to count in English, Spanish, and six other languages.

Based on a popular Mexican counting song, Little Elephants is the tale of a group of elephants that attempt to balance on a spider web. As long as they see the spider web holding on, they continue to call yet another friend to hop on. The song goes on and on and the verses can be repeated endlessly by simply changing the number of elephants to reflect the child’s ability to count up to 5 in the song.

The English adaptation truly matches the melody of the original Spanish version so that parents can sing it in English as well as in Spanish.

The app includes three activities in eight languages: English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, Hindi, Chinese, and Japanese.

Activities:
Sing to me: Listen to a fun version of this adorable counting song sung by a native speaker and set to a beautiful hand paintings of endearing elephants and their spider friend.

Read to me: Listen to an engaging reading of the song as you follow allow to the words on the screen.

Read to myself: Read the verses of the song at your own pace while you interact with the little elephants on the screen. Watch them move as they try to keep their balance.
