In this post, I am going to show you how to install DSI Device Policy Controller on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install DSI Device Policy Controller using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. The DSI Device Policy Controller allows you to complete enrollment of your compatible Android device using Dude Solutions MDM, part of the TechnologyEssentials family of IT asset management solution set. After completing device enrollment, the Device Policy Controller will work in conjunction with TechnologyEssentials MDM to enforce device restrictions and maintain compliance with defined polices established by your organization's IT Administrator.

Note: The DSI Device Policy Controller requires Android version 5.0+ and is not designed as a standalone application. Your organization must first setup and configure TechnologyEssentials MDM before this application will function. Please check with your local IT Administrator before downloading this application to ensure compatibility. This app uses the Device Administrator permission. Use of the permission, such as bind_device_admin, is integral to allow the Device Policy Controller to perform the essential administration functions required within the context of an EMM/MDM
application.
