Step By Step Guide To Install Arduino Uno Port Control using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Arduino Uno Port Control" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

This application enables to control the digital I/O ports of the Arduino UNO microcontroller board through the USB interface of your Android device. All you need is an USB OTG cable and a proper USB cable for the connection. Through the user interface, you can make the digital pins INPUT or OUTPUT and control the LOGIC STATE of each pin by toggle buttons easily.

After the installation of the application and when you connect the Arduino Uno board to your Android device, the system asks for a permission and you must give the permission to the app to use the USB interface. Otherwise it won't work.

Note: Tested on Samsung Galaxy S3 with an Arduino Uno R3 board. Please give feedback about any problems.

Caution: Please use this software at your own risk. Be sure about the electrical connections of the Arduino board to avoid any short circuits.
