Erasmus Student Network Croatia is an independent, non-profit, student, voluntary, apolitical, non-governmental and non-religious entity governed by the principles of Erasmus Student Network AISBL. We are a part of the biggest student association in Europe which was born in 1989. and registered in 1990. with the goal of supporting and developing student exchange. Our network is present in more than 900 Higher Education Institutions, we are in more than 40 countries, have more than 15,000 active members and involve around 40,000 young people in our activities to around 220,000 international exchange students every year! We advocate for the quality and quantity of mobility in the European Higher Education Area, spot obstacles and motivations for students to go abroad, try to detect solutions and advocate in Europe to ensure that detrimental factors are reduced and favourable components are increased. ESN Zagreb is just a drop in the sea of ESN International but that doesn't mean that our impact is not important. It's quite the opposite. Each semester our members organise a great number of fun and educational activities for international students in Zagreb which aim to help them connect with each other during their stay in Zagreb, get to know the local culture, everyday life and the beauty of nature in Zagreb and Croatia. Through different events such as international dinner, language table, visit to retirement homes and kindergartens, all kinds of sports activities like bubble football, paintball and free climbing, trips to various destinations in Croatia, karaoke and much, much more we connect together international students and local community in order to enrich our society and create the best possible mobility experience. Buddy programme is one of our biggest and most important projects because it directly connects international students with local students –their Buddy – in order to get help and important information even before they even come to Zagreb. When it comes to local students - we also offer our help. One of our tasks is the promotion of mobility programs, therefore, we regularly organize educational presentations and workshops for our local community in order to make them familiar with different possibilities of studying, volunteering or working abroad as well as holding workshops on how to properly write a motivation letter and CV or how to apply for Erasmus+ scholarship.  To make all of the above mentioned even more accessible and the communication faster and more efficient we created this application. Due to a constant overflow of information, we feel like this application would help us filter the important information about our work, events, trips and all the changes that are constantly happening in our day-to- day work. Now, all the interested parties can get an instant notification regarding the event they are interested in or if they need any information for themselves they are more than welcome to contact us over the app any time of the day. This app should bring all of us in the mobility system closer and help us make the Erasmus experience in Zagreb even better.
