In this post, I am going to show you how to install Easy Inventory on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Easy Inventory using BlueStacks

Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
Once installed, click "Easy Inventory" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

How to install Easy Inventory on Windows PC using NoxPlayer

On the first start of the Easy Inventory Program, if it does not exist, a folder named EASY INVENTORY will be created in the External Storage area of your device. In the EASY INVENTORY folder, you can find the text files to which the inventory information is transferred. The file name contains the name given to the inventory, together with the selected date information about that inventory.

Inventory Selection Screen Explanations

There are two options before switching to the Inventory Screen

- After entering an expression that defines the inventory in the Inventory Name field, you can switch to the Inventory Screen by clicking on the New Inventory button.

- After clicking on the Inventory List button, you can access a previously saved inventories from the opened list.

Inventory Screen Explanations

- The barcode reader button at the bottom of the screen activates the barcode reading function of your device.

NOTE: Keeping the barcode and device that are read during the barcode reading process in a fixed position will cause the barcode reading process to be more successful.

- With the Export Inventory button at the top of the screen, you can send the inventory data by e-mail or just save it as text file in EASY INVENTORY folder.

- The button next to the barcode box on the screen is the selection of the quantity mode to which the function is applied. With this button you can change the quantity mode to + (Increase), - (Decrease), and 1 (Increase by one). If you want to keep the quantity mode selection permanently on the screen, you can change the setting related to this on the Setting Screen.

- When the barcode is read while the quantity mode is +, the cursor will be in the quantity field. After entering the value in the quantity field, you can complete the save process by pressing the Enter key or the Save button on the screen.
