You take the bag of popcorn of the box.
Then you read the instructions: it says something between 2 and 4 minutes, depending on your microwave oven.
Then you put your bag of popcorn inside of the microwave oven and let it begin.

...

After a while, you end up with a bag of roasted popcorn, or a bag of unpopped kernels.

HOW TO FIX THIS?
Easy! Use this app that counts how many kernels pop and let's you know when it is the right moment to take it out. Not all kernels will pop, but it tried to find the perfect ratio between maximizing popcorn kernels popped and minimizing roasted or burnt kernels.

Currently it supports bags of 100g (3.5 oz), 85g (3 oz) and 70 g (2.5 oz).

How to use:
1. Put the bag inside of the microwave and the smartphone on a flat surface, close to the microwave oven.
2. Be quiet during all the process please. The app needs silence.
3. Open the Popcorn Counter App and set the popcorn bag size (default 100g).
4. Set the timer of the microwave and let it start.
5. Start the counting process by pulling the moving hand down into the popcorn bag.
6. Keep an eye on the bag at all times. This app needs testing and it's currently on beta mode.
7. When the app says it's ready, turn the microwave oven off!
8. If you think the popcorn is ready before the app says so, please go ahead and turn it off. It's still in beta mode and detection techniques are being improved.
