Step By Step Guide To Play Bernúncia using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

The "Game of Bernuncia: The Auto Papaya Ox", developed by the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology of the UFPR through university extension project, allows the player to feature in the Bernúncia, one of the characters present in the traditional Auto Papaya Ox in a game where this tissue monster swallows the children who participate in the merriment.

With gameplay similar to the famous game SNAKE, the player must "eat" the greatest number of children as you can, while avoiding being attacked by Tichipás and swallow the sailors who play the instruments of songs that take place during the folkloric manifestation.

Originating in games with the ox made in the Azores, the self is staged in the coastal region of southern Brazil. The name refers to the origins of merriment when then the ox's head was represented by a green papaya.

The self enacts the legend that unbaptized infants are eaten by a monster. In the scenarios, it "devours" the children who enter through his mouth and out the tail.
