In this post, I am going to show you how to install SIMET Mobile on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install SIMET Mobile using BlueStacks

Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen

The SIMET Mobile is the Internet Measurement System Traffic for mobile devices, that is, an application that allows you to test the quality of your internet through your smartphone device.

With SIMET Mobile you can:

- Know what your Internet speed (upload and download)
- Read latency (ping) from your network
- Know the packet loss
- Know your network jitter
- Know how is the quality of the Internet in each location you tested
- Know how is the quality of other operators anywhere in Brazil
- Know the places where there were errors in your test
- Learn advanced information about the signal from your cell phone

The SIMET is the only system that lets you know the quality of your Internet by using technologies that prevent your provider mask the results.

Its results will be used by the Internet Steering Committee in Brazil to generate a map to know how is the quality of the Brazilian Internet.

All tests are done outside your carrier's network. No other application quality measuring Internet gives this return to the Brazilian community.

Tips ****** how to make a more accurate test ******
  - Close all other applications on your phone. This prevents problems that hinder the progress of the test.
  - Check the filters on your WIFI network. The SIMET Mobile does not use HTTP traffic for the tests. Filters, and the use of caches, can cause problems in running the tests. This technique used by SIMET is one of the reasons for the test results are not circumvented by operators
  - If you make tests via 3G, look for a location where you have a good 3G signal power. If the quality is very bad, the test can not be completed.
