Hiragana Katakana Puzzle is an educational game that helps children learn Japanese as they tilt or touch the screen.

Once the app is launched, all you need to do is touch the screen. It has a very simple design so it can be enjoyed even by very small children. As they touch, watch, listen, and play, children unconsciously start to learn to recognize the basic letters of the Japanese Hiragana and Katakana.

■■■Watch, Touch, and Listen■■■
The background of the wooden frame shows an illustration of an object beginning with the letter of the Hiragana and Katakana being displayed, so that children can think about the object straight away. As they touch and insert pieces in the frame, they will hear a native speaker say the words out loud. This allows them to listen to Japanese words with the correct pronunciation. By repeatedly touching the screen, they can play and learn spontaneously about the shapes of the letters and their pronunciation.
