How it works

The application will help to deepen the debate on public security, allowing the population of the districts most affected by the war logic manifests itself concretely and securely. It is a tool for the population to show through the application, every time it is placed in the middle of "Crossfire."

The app allows any citizen to share data every time you witness or hear a shooting. By filling in a simple and secure form, the information is transformed by the app a notification on a map.

Thus, interactively with the population, the maps generated by the application can be aggregated and combined with information from other areas such as health and education. In this process, we will gradually get a more realistic picture of gun violence in the city which will be helpful to outline more comprehensive and effective public policies to face the problem.
