Was founded in 1987 in Santo António de Vagos by Father Manuel da Rocha Creoulo, pastor of the parish, the Good News Radio, based on the values of Christian inspiration, with the aim of promoting the Municipality of Vagos.
The studios were blessed on 13 June this year, the feast of the patron saint of the town, although the experimental emissions had already been initiated in the previous month.
The founder has acquired its own expense all necessary materials and installed it in the attachments parish hall, which has also worked the Folklore Group of San Antonio.
After about eighteen months of aggregate service to the parish, in the context of so-called pirate radio, operating in late 1988 ended its emissions by contingency of new Radio Law.
