In this post, I am going to show you how to install Domgee on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Play Domgee using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Domgee" icon on the home screen to start playing, it'll work like a charm :D

Domgee is a fun original strategy game that uses a single matrix as its board.

Players have to put numbers on the matrix (called tokens) and then display their numbers to the computer (called Carl). The player with the least amount of tokens on the matrix decides if they want to be the row or column player. Players then select what column or row they want and where the picked column and row meet is called the chosen square. The player that has the most tokens in the chosen square wins the round and gets 8 bonus points. Play continues until 3 rounds have been played and the winner is the player who has the most points.

People who have studied simple game theory in economics may have heard some of the rules before. The game is based off of a normal-form game in game theory where students have to find the optimal strategy by finding the dominant strategies/Nash equilibria. In fact, the name Domgee comes from game theory, short for DOMinant StrateGEE(y).

Although the game is based off of game theory, the game does have a fair bit of luck in it. The strategy comes from trying to find a way to put the tokens on the board to ensure victory and minimize the luck. Although players have to do simple math, Domgee is a game where anyone can understand the rules.
Domgee can also be used by economic students who are having trouble understanding their game theory classes. The game helps anyone’s critical thinking and analytic skills!

I just made the game, so I may change the rules here and there and any feedback is welcomed.

Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
