All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Sim-Evolution using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. The Yes-Evolution was developed as an educational simulator in order to provide support in understanding biology content. Discusses the theory of Natural Selection by Charles Darwin in its main aspects, such as changes in characteristics of living beings, differential reproduction and heredity, allied to the concepts of Mendelian genetics and foundations of probability and genetics.

Evaluate the application of these concepts in a simplified form in a computer simulation environment will result in gain on completion of learning these subjects in the classroom, signaling that such initiatives should be encouraged in the educational context.

Run simulations of natural selection in different environments and with different varieties of birds or set yourself the chances of adaptation of birds in the environment. Follow the survival of the birds in each environment and analyze the application of the concepts also with the support of the birds survival graphic in the timeline.

You will be able to assimilate in a practical and simple way the phenotype and genotype concepts and their relation to the differential reproduction of birds and their survival in each environment.
