In Japanese, getting acquainted and introducing yourself is unique. And it would be nice if we try to get used to follow to its khasan it.
In Japanese, usually familiarizing oneself begins with a word
Hajimemashite / 始 め ま し て (read = hajimemashte)
It then goes on to say the name, and ends with a closing greeting and ojigi.
Like what the hell ?? Okay take a look at the example below

Hajimemashite は じ め ま し て (if in Indonesia, this expression is the same as ... Greetings Kenal)
    Watashi wa Yagami desu 私 は 夜 神 で す (I am a yagami)
        Watashi (私) means Me,
Yagami (夜 神) is a name of a subject who introduces himself,
desu (で す) is copula (desu is usually read "des", has no meaning but very big influence in everyday conversation, such as marking decency, etc. For clarity later we will learn it in next lesson).
Yoroshiku Onegai Shimasu よ ろ し く お ね 願 い し ま す (If in Indonesia, this phrase is more or less the same as "Glad to meet you").
Then end with Ojigi お 辞 儀 (Yours a'la japan by way of bowing body)

Well how? Already grasp the meaning ?? Let's repeat and combine ...

    Hajimemashite (は じ め ま し て)
    Watashi wa Yagami desu (私 は 夜 神 で す)
    Yoroshiku Onegai Shimasu (よ ろ し く お ね 願 い し ま す)

Okay, that's how to introduce myself in Japan, and do not forget to give the Japanese a'la a very distinctive (Ojigi)
