What is a parable?

A parable is a simple and objective fictional narrative that communicates a message or teach a lesson. The parables of Jesus can not be compared to any other existing parable, because of such originality and purpose.

In general, the parables of Jesus have a very clear central message, but at the same time are also very deep in their applications, so that only the true followers of the Lord Jesus can understand them fully.
