The show tells the fantastic story of Clara and her precious doll Nutcracker, a gift from his godfather, the Drosselmeyer magician, and his enchanted journey of the Kingdom of the Snows to the Kingdom of Sweets, after facing the cruel battle against the Mouse King and his army.

This work was first presented in 1983, with production Black Swan, under the direction of Hulda Bittencourt, getting that year the São Paulo Association of Art Critics prize of (APCA) as the BEST DANCE SHOW.

It has since been incorporated into the repertoire of the Black Swan Dance Company until the present day, in its 34th edition, and never ceased to be updated in all aspects, bringing many new features, with a great diversification choreographic and scenic, which lends a touch of originality and innovation at the show, without losing the essence of this magnificent work.
