Holy Bible the Living Word is a Bible reading and listening app. It contains
the complete King James Version, an audio narration of every chapter, a daily
devotional, a one-year reading plan and Bible studies organized by theme.

WHAT YOU CAN DO IN THE APP

Read the whole Bible
All 66 books of the King James Version, in full. Adjust the text size and turn
on night mode for reading in the dark. The app saves the chapter you stopped
at, so you can pick up where you left off. You can highlight verses, write your
own notes and mark chapters as read to follow your progress.

Listen to any chapter
Every chapter is narrated in audio. Choose among five voices - Andrew, Ava,
Brian, Emma and William - and follow the text as it is read, verse by verse.
Once a chapter has been downloaded it plays without an internet connection, so
you can listen while driving, cooking or before going to sleep.

Read a devotional each morning
A short daily text with a Bible verse, a meditation on it and a prayer. It also
comes in audio. A calendar shows which days you have already read.

Follow a one-year reading plan
The plan divides the Bible across 365 days. Each day shows the chapters to
read, with a button to read or to listen, a space for notes and a box to mark
the day as done. Your progress is shown by month.

Study the Bible by theme
Studies grouped into twelve themes: love, comfort, counsel, growth, hardship,
hope, faith, happiness, justice, wisdom, salvation and safety. Each study opens
with a verse, explains it and applies it to daily life. You can save studies as
favourites and share them.

Look up words and find verses
A Bible dictionary explains terms, people and places. A concordance finds any
verse by keyword, with or without accents. And a themed index gathers verses on
subjects such as faith, family, forgiveness and trial.

Keep a prayer list
Write down what you are praying for and mark each request as answered. A
gratitude wall keeps the answers you have received. There are also fifty
prayers from the Bible, with the passage where each one is found.

Share a verse as an image
Turn any verse into an image to send to family and friends. Choose a background
from the app's gallery or use a photo of your own, then send it to WhatsApp,
Instagram or anywhere else.

Read a Bible story every day
365 illustrated stories, one for each day of the year, each with narration and
a lesson at the end. Written in simple language, they work well for reading
with children.

Listen to Christian radio
Twenty English-language Christian stations, playing directly in the app.

Play Bible games
Six games: word search, Bible quiz, guess the character, memory, put the verse
back together, and a game about resisting temptation. They can be played alone
or with the family, and they keep score.

WORKS WITHOUT AN INTERNET CONNECTION
The Bible text, the dictionary, the studies and the games work offline. Audio
works offline after it has been downloaded once.

All the biblical content is free, with no limit and no registration. The app is
supported by advertising. The optional Premium plan removes every ad.
