SlingSpector is a total sling management tool which has been developed by industry experts for aged care or disability organisations, hospitals, as well as people at home, who use slings. SlingSpector ensures compliance with the International Standard ISO 10535, and local regulatory requirements such as the UK’s LOLER 1998 regulations, and Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) requirements. It can be used from your smartphone, tablet or computer and provides a simple, fast, efficient and reliable way of storing sling information and completing inspection checklists. SlingSpector also comes with excellent staff guidance videos, showing what constitutes both a Sling Inspection Before Use and a 6 Monthly Thorough Sling Inspection, including a start-to-finish run through so staff can see how long an inspection should take, and what is involved. The videos also show examples of damage and wear and tear to look out for.
