Loja pesëkatësh është një lojë me letra e ngjashme me lojën e kupave. Loja luhet me katër lojtarë të cilëve u ndahen të gjitha letrat. Lojtarët mund të luajnë secili për vete ose dy me dy. Luhet një numër i caktuar katesh, ose deri sa dikush të arrijë një numër të caktuar pikësh.

Loja
Kater lojrat e para (ose katet) janë të ngjashme, prandaj shpesh edhe luhen bashkë. Qëllimi është që të marrësh sa më shumë pikë. Të tjerët vazhdojnë duke hedhur një letër nga po ai lloj (kupa, karo, spathi, apo maç). Ai që hedh letrën më të madhe (2,3,4...,K,A) merr letrat e dorës dhe hap dorën tjetër. Kur s'ke nga lloji i hapur mund të hedhësh nga cilido lloj që dëshiron.

Loja e shtatave niset nga ai që ka 7 spathi dhe vazhdon në shkallëzim me dy kahe (p.sh. 7,8,9...K,A, apo A,2,...,6,7) njëkohësisht me letra të të njëjtit lloj. Pikët e letrave mblidhen, për shembull nëse dikush merr dorën që ka K maç, Q kup, 5 kup, 3 maç, ai do të ketë: -16-4-2-2+2=-22 pikë për atë dorë.
