In this post, I am going to show you how to install UGV Driver Assistant on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install UGV Driver Assistant using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen

- Video recorder (video recording using the rear camera, background recording, subtitles (date, time, speed, location), augmented reality, fragment recording, temporary auto-pause recording when camera doesn't detect motion)

- Distance control (vehicles, pedestrians detection and warnings of dangerous approach to them)

- Road sign notifications, speed limit warnings

- Vehicle trajectory control (road edge detection and warnings in case of deviation from the road)

How to use

1. The recommended device specifications to use all features: CPU 8 Cores 2.0 GHz, 2 GB Memory (RAM)

2. Using car smartphone mount, attach your device to the windshield of your car

3. Start the app and adjust the position of the smartphone so that there is no "Camera position is incorrect"

4. Set the camera (smartphone) height and the width of your car

5. Start recording by pressing the REC button and activate the driving assistance modules you need

* If video recording isn't smooth then try to disable the driver-assistance modules and the augmented reality option (your device may not have enough resources)
