The Reina-Valera-Gomez is a revision of the translation of the Bible known as Reina and Valera, the reviewer is Humberto Gomez Caballero, who is considered Independent Fundamental Baptist. This version is used by some fundamentalist, speaking churches. Today (2015) there are several revisions of the King James, one of the most widespread version is the year 1960. However, a growing number of fundamentalist argues that the United Bible Societies have had a slow influence and harmful over [citation needed] Spanish text, away from the traditional text almost universally accepted for four centuries since the beginning of reform. That traditional text refers to the "Masoretic text" of Hebrew and "Textus Receptus" Greek. While the textual basis of the reviews of this translation are these texts, not critical texts.
