Sri Divya was born on November 30, 1986 in Hyderabad, India. Her career began at the age of three and has appeared in nearly 10 Telugu films as a child actress. She has also starred in Telugu television serials.
In 2010, she made her debut as the female lead in Ravi Babu’s Telugu romance film Mansara. She then starred in the 2012 film Bus Stop, although the film did not fare well in the box office.
The following year, she played the role of Lakshmi in GV Rama Raju’s film Mallela Theeram Lo Sirimalle Puvvu. Her performance was well-received and the film garnered critical praise as well.
She entered the cinema industry as a child artiste and her first movie was 'Hanuman Junction' in 2000. Her debut movie as a lead was 'Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam' which won her SIIMA Award for Best Debut Actress. She is known for her performances in 'Jeeva' and 'Kaaki Sattai'.Sri Divya started her career in tamil film industry on 2013 with the movie Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam.
It was a tamil coedy romantic entertainer movie which featured Sridivya and Sivakarthikeyan in the lead roles. It was a big breakthrough for both of them. She featured in the role of Latha pandi.Director Ponram introduced her to tamil cinema industry with his movie and it was a very good start for her, She became noted to the industry with her first ever movie in tamil industry and appeared in lead roles in many tamil movies the following years.
Kaaki sattai was her 2015 release , which also featured Sivakarthikeyan and Sri divya in the lead roles, Director R. S. Durai Senthilkumar selected her for the lead role in this action masala movie as Divya and the movie was a big commercial success.
She acted in some of the hit movies the following years too, such as Eetti , banglore naatkal etc.
This movie made her famous to whole south india, Now she is one of the familiar face to south indian movie lovers and she has a big fan followers support all over south india.
Her sister Sri is also an actress who played female lead along with Bala Aditya in Narsimha Nandi's National Award movie 1940 Lo Oka Gramam, before making her mark in the movies she was doing TV serials in Telugu.
