CrossTalk is a mobile application that can be used to share the gospel with others, it equips individuals with the ability to connect unbelievers to a local church, and encourages them to continue their walk of faith beyond their first visit.

Finding a church that is right for you and your family is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. At CrossTalk, we know that coming to a new church can be intimidating. We want to show you what you can expect before you arrive at the church campus. From the locations and service times, language spoken, average church attendance, the demographic make-up of the congregation including ages, races, ethnicities, the various ministries offered, worship and theological styles, percentages of singles, married adults, divorced adults, widows and any special features that differentiates churches from one another. We have made every effort to make sure the first visit to a church is as comfortable and welcoming as possible. From knowing where to go when arriving on the campus, where to take children, teens, or college students, how to dress, where to park, and answer any other questions one may have to make their visit less intimidating. If the church offers nursery and toddler care during Sunday Worship times, we want them to know if it is safe and clean, show pictures, know where the nursery and children’s ministry is located, and ensure there will be friendly greeters at the front door ready to point them in the right direction upon arrival. With the average American spending two hours a day on their smartphones, and an estimated 85% of that time is spent using apps.

Smartphones are the #1 way of communication (text, email, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and App’s are now the #1 way to process information. If we want to reach people where they are, an app must be an integral part of our communication. We use our smartphones for everything else: shopping for groceries, booking hotels, buying cars, searching for restaurants, why not have the same capability to help people find churches! We want to put the information at people’s fingertips the instance a gospel conversation occurs.

In the CrossTalk App, users can submit prayer requests, comment on a church’s social media channels, connect to a pastor immediately, take sermon notes, and much more all through the app’s interface. Through CrossTalk your church can offer up-to- date information on events and church news all in one place, users can view churches photos and videos, and watch or listen to sermons.

Why do we often pass several churches on our way to our church worship service on the weekend? If you think about it, it is because we connect to the DNA of our churches. Our church defines who we are and how we celebrate in our relationship with Christ. The church is WHO we are, and in the same way no two people are the same, not all churches are the same. We connect to them differently. Finding a church that’s right can be an overwhelming process. Our goal is to connect new believers and the un-churched to a local congregation and to a place that they can call their church home.  Our desire is to empower men and women of all ages to act more effectively and to see themselves as an intricate part of God’s plan in all realms of life. The options are endless, as are the questions that come along with them.

Which denomination should you belong to?
What’s the difference between Catholics and Pentecostals?
Anglicans and Baptists?
What if you don’t like the preaching or the style of worship?
Is it wrong to “shop around” for a church?

We are not advocating “Church Shopping,” but our intent is to help people find the right church to begin with, to prevent “Church Hopping.” At CrossTalk, we provide you with the information you need to be engaged in a gospel conversation with someone of another religion, in such a way we guide you through how to present the gospel to each of the main religions.
