Ari Bernardus Lasso, or better known as Ari Lasso (born in Madiun, East Java, January 17, 1973, age 44 years) is an Indonesian pop singer. The man with long and tall hair about 167 cm was once recorded as the vocalist of band Dewa 19 (1991-1999) which he finally came out and went on a career as a solo artist.
Ari first formed Outsider Band during school at SMA Negeri 2 Surabaya with Wawan Juniarso (drummer Dewa) Piyu (Rice guitarist). Then he joined the Lost Angels Band, who later became Boomerang.
He later joined Down Beat, later renamed Dewa, and changed again to Dewa 19. This band became big, and almost every album that sold sold hundreds of thousands of copies. In the midst of his busyness to become personnel Dewa, Ari successfully completed his studies at the Faculty of Economics Airlangga University (Unair) Surabaya.
