The Democratic Republic of Congo Football Championship, also known Linafoot (National Football League), is an annual football competition contested by the Congolese clubs and organized by Fecofa (Congolese Federation of Association Football). This national competition, created in 1958, still struggling to win in such a vast country, where local and provincial championships, like the Epfkin (Provincial Agreement soccer Kinshasa) remain extremely popular.

The championship has experienced in its history many changes of operation, the latter only goes back to December 2009. In order to best respond to the problem of distance and reduce travel costs for teams, the solution single hen was discarded in favor of a final stage between provincial champions.

From the 2012 season, it is again the formula with single pool of 14 teams is retained.
