History of Henna
The art of henna ( mehndi in Hindi & Urdu) has been practiced for over 5000 years in Pakistan, India, Africa and the Middle East. There is some documentation that it is over 9000 years old. Due to its natural cooling properties, people of the desert, for centuries, have been using henna to cool down their bodies. They make a paste of henna and soak their palms and soles of the feet in it to get an air conditioning affect. They feel its cooling sensation throughout the body for as long as the henna stain remains on their skin.

Artwork & Decorations

After the stain faded away, it left patterns on the skin which led to ideas to make designs for decorative purposes. In the ancient Era people wore henna designs. Who could not afford jewelry, used it to decorate their bodies as well.
Henna In Western Countries

Today people all over the world have adopted the ancient traditions of Henna (Mehndi). It became a very popular in the 90's in the US and has become a growing trend ever since. Celebrities decorate their bodies with henna. People throughout the west have adopted the eastern tradition for weddings, bellies painted while in pregnancy, heads adorned with henna after chemotherapy, on scars to make them hidden etc.

We are Introducing “Draw Live Mehndi ” or “Adorn Body parts with Henna” feature. It’s a very unique and interesting feature of drawing mehndi on your hands. With this feature you can adorn your hands, foot and armlets with your own choice. Select and draw multiple mehndi designs stickers on your hand or any body part you want to decorate with henna or mehndi.

2. HD Mehndi Wallpapers
A gallery view of lots of mehndi designs. View and share with your mehndi artist for your functions and parties. You can save the images to SD card and later you can access them. Share Image to your friends using Mail, Bluetooth and any social media installed on your device.

Save Your art Design to the galley. You Can share you mendi art with your friends by directly sharing within the app.
