Dewa 19 is a music group formed in 1986 in Surabaya, Indonesia. The group has several times changed its personnel and its last formation before being dissolved in 2011 are Ahmad Dhani (keyboards), Andra Junaidi (guitar), Once Mekel (vocals), Yuke Sampurna (bass) and Agung Yudha (drums). After dominating the festival stages in the late 1980s, Dewa 19 then moved to Jakarta and released their first album in 1992 under the label Team Records.

[8] They have also been awarded the LibForAll Award in the United States for their contribution to peace and religious tolerance.
