Damaru Media Player on Windows Pc

The Damaru media player was developed to handle all your audio and video entertainment needs from a single app. Apart from audio and video playback functionality the app also has an
embedded Youtube player. The overall layout of the audio and video mode is quite simple, providing an amazingly intuitive experience to the user.
Due to the simplicity of the user interface - a specific song selection can be done very easily.
App also supports two languages - English and Hindi.
We have provided a horizontal hour glass shaped launcher button(Damaru), which is centered at the bottom of the screen.
When we click the launcher button 3 modes can be selected - Audio, Video and Youtube.

Audio Mode

Audio mode basically is used to play the audio or mp3 files. The file selection screen basically has sections like - recently added, recently played, playlist and music library.
The bottom of the screen has 4 options and a launcher button in the centre. The four options are Music, Favourite , Musiverse and Setting.
The Musicverse option sorts the songs based on genre.
When a song is selected to play, Now playing screen appears. Apart from the usual music controls, three buttons are present near the bottom of the screen - favourite, visualizations and
sharing.

Video Mode

When video mode is selected via the Launcher button, the video selection screen appears. The layout of the video selection screen is similar to the selection screen in the audio mode.
The major difference being the imported option ,which is present instead of the musiverse option. The imported option shows the imported folders and allows the user to select and import
more folders to the video library.
The supported video formats are - fmp4, m4a, flv, mpeg-ts, mpeg-ps, aac, mpg, ogv, mp4, mkv.


YouTube Mode

When Youtube mode is selected via launcher button, Youtube playlist screen appears. User can select a video from the playlists provided or the search button can be used to
search a video from Youtube. Once a video is searched and selected, the video begins playing in the minimized mode. This minimized screen can be dragged and placed to the desired
location on the screen. The minimized screen can be dragged by holding the Youtube icon just above the video playing screen. There is a speaker icon present above the minimized screen,
when this icon is clicked the Youtube playlist selection screen will appear again. The minimized screen can be closed by dragging it to the "X" mark present at the bottom center of
the screen.

Some features which are common to most music/media players are not mentioned in this description.
