New improved Strokes and Volume Calculator allow you to calculate:
* Pump output for triplex and duplex pumps
* Annular velocity within your annulus
* Volume and fluid levels of different types of thanks
* The most important calculate strokes and volume of your empty hole, the annulus (annular volume and strokes) and drill string capacity and strokes.

Strokes and Volume Calculator contains few calculators which allow you to calculate as described above. Strokes and volume calculator allows you to design your drill string from surface to bit or from bit to surface and your hole (casing, liner and open hole). Volume and strokes are calculated for each part of the drill string (drill collars, heavy weight, different drill pipes etc.), there is no limit as of how many parts of drill string you can input. Calculations are divided in result screen into 3 different parts - Hole - Drill String - Annular. Calculation results are displayed in the list as per parts entered and later summary of total volume and strokes is displayed at the end of the list.

The main goal of creation and development of Oilfield Apps is to help fellow oilfield people in their everyday struggle to do their best job. As we all know sometimes things on rig site can go wrong and during those stressful situations looking for the equation or calculating something on paper can be painful. That is the reason behind Oilfield Apps to provide best mobile apps in the industry.

However, I cannot guarantee that everything is and always will be perfect and correct especially that different companies use slightly different factors to calculate (different number rounding of numbers etc.). I did my best to unify all those factors since they are all very close to each other. I was able to achieve differences between my apps and other calculators (or excel files) in the range of 0-0.5% which is I believe extremely close.

Happy Drilling,
