Founded on the territory of Thrace with Turkey's Anatolian peninsula, there are 81 provinces. Provinces are the largest administrative division of Turkey. After 4 years, Aksaray, Cebelibereket, Hakkari and Şebinkarahisar became districts, the merger of Mersin and Silifke and the creation of a new province called İçel, and Artvin and Rize were merged and a new province called Çoruh was created. In 1936, Rize, Tunceli and Hakkari became provinces again. Dersim's name was changed to Tunceli in the same year; In 1939, the State of Hatay, Turkey Hatay connected to the name of the aldı.1953't, Usak province, it was decided that the district Kırşehir, 1954, Adiyaman, Nevsehir and won Sakarya province status.
