Motorcycle often called a bike, motorbike, or cycle is a two or three wheeled motor vehicle. Motorcycle design varies greatly to suit a range of different purposes: long distance travel, commuting, cruising, sports including racing, and off-road riding. The chopper is a type of custom motorcycle that emerged in the world in the late 1950s. The chopper is perhaps the most extreme of all custom styles, often using radically modified steering angles and lengthened forks for a stretched-out appearance. Some of the characteristic features of choppers are long front ends with extended forks often coupled with increased rake angle, hardtail frames without rear suspension, very tall or very short handlebars, lengthened or stretched frames, and larger than stock front wheels. Styling includes a roughly 45-degree angle front fork, shiny chrome detailing and other features unique to the bike's owner such custom paint designs. The overall appearance and performance make choppers distinctly different from factory motorcycles. The chopper is also more difficult to turn than a factory bike.
