FacoElche is a scientific meeting devoted to phacorefractive surgery that is held every year in the city of Elche (Spain). Since its first edition in 1999, dates are always the first weekend of February and has its headquarters since its inception the Hotel Huerto del Cura in Elche.

FacoElche is devoted to the anterior segment surgery of the eye in general, but has a special focus on the surgical procedures on the lens, as well as cataract surgery interventions as intraocular refractive surgery.

Attended by more than 800 ophthalmologists and eye care professionals throughout Spain and abroad and develops a program both communications and conferences, such as satellite courses and accreditation, as well as a live surgery session.

FacoElche is a very dynamic meeting with a highly practical and didactic, which has established itself as the third most important ophthalmic meeting those carried out regularly in Spain, after the two main official societies.
