Saud al-Shuraim was born January 19, 1964 in Riyadh of Saudi Arabia. He is an imam of the Grand Holy Masjid al-Haram. The shaykh was appointed the imam of the Grand Masjid since 1992 and every since then has been known for his amazing voice. As a graduate of Umm al-Qura University of Mecca, the Shaykh has great knowledge of various Islamic sciences which was obtained from his Ph.D. degree.
