In this post, I am going to show you how to install 25 Pair Color Code on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.

App includes 3 cable color codes:
~Standard 25 pair color code for cables of 900 pair or less (backyard, cross-boxes & underground).
~100 pair Bundle for cable sizes of 1200 to 3000 pair (underground & crossboxes)
~300 pair Bundle color code for 3600 to 4200 pair (underground).

Bundled Duct PIC color codes are useful with paper and pulp cables too.

Locate color codes with or without cable counts using the 'Find a Pair' option. Click the Search icon and enter a Sheath Pair # without a cable count or enter a 'Cable,Pair' if using a cable count (app auto detects if there is a cable count or not) . The app will then place index pointers at the pairs found locations and place the searched for pairs 25 pair color code in a bar at the top of the screen.


Cable Count~
While not necessary to use in the app. You can enter a full complex cable count that can be broke down into the selected cable type groups of 25 at the Count Input screen or select the 'Color Code' button to have your complex cable count placed in the easy to use click to expand activity where you can locate the Super Binder, Group and Sheath / Cable Pair identification and color code on cables of up to 6000 pair.

~Double Space Auto Punctuation:
Easily enter a cable count using the apps built in double space auto-punctuation feature by:
1) Enter cable name followed by 2 spaces (app automatically places a **comma)
2) Enter a low pair range followed by 2 spaces (app automatically places a dash)
3) Enter the high pair range followed by 2 spaces (app automatically drops down for next line of count)

**Customers that use a Colon (":") for cable name and pair range separation: The first time you enter a cable count you will need to manually enter your first line of count using a colon to set the app to use colon separators. To set back to using a comma again you just need to manually enter a comma in the first line to set the app properties for Double Space Auto Punctuation.
