This application is based on the regulations for calculating the resistance of the specimens of concrete tested with simple axial load.

The calculations for cylinder resistance are based on a height / diameter ratio of 2 to 1 and for the conversion of F'c to Mr it uses the square root of the resistance by 2.32 (the mean of the factor range).

The beams are calculated in the same way regardless of whether they are 50 or 60 cm, this application calculates the resistance considering a fracture within the middle third, a width × height of 15 × 15 and a base with supports to 45 cm, due to that these are the most common.

The 15 cm cubes are used for resistances up to 300 kg / cm², the 10 cm cubes are used for resistances above 300 kg / cm² and the 5 cm cubes are used for mortars.
