The best app to help you cope with panic, stress and anxiety! This app will guide you when and where you need it.
Panic Relief is developed by a danish psychiatrist and specialist in cognitive behavioral therapy, Marianne Breds Geoffroy.
In Panic Relief Free you have access to one of four methods: ‘ARM’: a neuromuscular relaxation method. It is really simple and easy to use. Look through the short animated cartoon and use the technique when you feel anxiety is building-up inside you. Check out the free version, read 'What is a Panic attack?' and understand why you can learn to cope.
The full version of Panic Relief includes ‘CHEST’, SQUARE and ‘BODY’. Short cartoons with animations show you effective coping techniques. Follow the instructions and your anxiety or panic attack will last shorter and feel less intense!

Also read ’More’: why some of us are prone for anxiety attacks, why panic attacks may come and go in periods and answers to other frequently asked questions..

Panic Relief is used by doctors and psychologists as a supplement to their treatment for panic, anxiety and stress disorders.

Typical situations where panic and anxiety may start:
- in supermarkets, in crowds
- in public transports, in airplanes
- on highways, crossing bridges, in heights
- before exams or job interviews
- in other situations where you might feel stuck e.g.
at the dentist, at formal gatherings and meetings, in restaurants etc.

The other 3 tools: CHEST, SQUARE and BODY are available in the full version of Panic Relief:

CHEST:
helps you discover what your normal breathing pattern at rest looks like. This will guide and prevent you from breathing too heavily and too frequent during panic, also called hyperventilation. Hyperventilation causes dizziness and makes anxiety and panic even worse.

SQUARE:
is a wellknown CBT method often called ‘breathing in squares’. This tool gives you both visual and mental focus when you look at the square and breathe as the white dot indicates. Use it during anxiety and panic. It will make you stay in mental control while the body calms down.

BODY:
is a visualization exercise. First read the text: 'What is a Panic attack?' describing the fight-flight reflex. Follow this animation and let the turmoil inside you become trans-formed into a more pleasant and flow-like sensation.
