This App allows you to discover and explore Mold - a town with its roots in the middle ages, although you may not be aware of it at first glance.

Use the App to learn about our Norman castle at Bailey Hill and a fine medieval church. People have lived in the area since at least the bronze age as the discovery of a golden cape on the outskirts of the town in 1833 proves. The cape is one of the top ten attractions at the British museum. Local gentry built fine town houses, and the nineteenth century saw the town grow as a commercial centre for surrounding agriculture and areas rich in coal and lead.

The App makes use of both GPS and iBeacon technologies to give relevant information depending on your current location in Mold, both inside our designated buildings and outside.

The App is available in English and Welsh languages.

Tref yw'r Wyddgrug gyda'i gwreiddiau yn yr oesoedd canol er efallai na fyddwch yn ymwybodol o hynny ar yr olwg gyntaf.

Mae gennym gastell Normanaidd ym Mryn y Beili ac eglwys ganoloesol hardd. Mae pobl wedi byw yn yr ardal ers yr Oes Efydd, darganfu mantell aur o'r cyfnod ar gyrion y dref ym 1833. Mae'r fantell yn un o ddeg atyniad mwyaf poblogaidd yr Amgueddfa Brydeinig. Adeiladodd boneddigion lleol dai trefol, ac o'r bedwaredd ganrif ar bymtheg gwelwyd y dref yn ffynnu fel canolfan fasnachol ar gyfer yr ardaloedd cyfagos oedd â diwydiannau megis amaethyddiaeth, glo a phlwm. Mae'r farchnad yn un o atyniadau'r dref hyd heddiw.
