Responsible data protection is a top priority. Barmenia does not receive any personal health data - it is the medical confidentiality. Our service partner TeleClinic stores your data only encrypted multiple times and exclusively on German servers.

General disease-related counseling (§ 7 Abs. 4 MBO-Ä)
The cooperation partner TeleClinic provides a general disease-related consultation by physicians within the meaning of § 7 Abs. 4 MBO-Ä (see Notes and Explanations to § 7 paragraph 4 MBO-Ä (remote treatment) of the German Medical Association of 11.12.2015).
Diagnosis and treatment are still only allowed to the physi- cally treating physician. The offer from TeleClinic fills the gap between self-diagnosis via internet search engines and medical findings. The regular visit to the doctor should therefore not be replaced by TeleClinic, but should be supplemented wisely.
