Qave on Windows Pc

The Qave is a game where you try to identify a bird that has been submitted.

It uses the site database wikiaves.com.br

The player must guess the bird that appears and get points for it. The quicker produce the correct ID (a 6 IDs option) more points you earn.

Each ID has a 30-second time limit. Missing identification is Game Over for you.

Basic Tutorial:

1) Before playing, make sure you are connected to internet. Preferably to a Wi-Fi network. You can only play with mobile data, but as the application loads large photos often, your data could end quickly.

Also make sure that your phone's volume (media) is extended or use headphones (for sound recordings also appear).

2) Press the "ID", enter your name and click Play. Wait loading. The app carries great photos and only displays the image when it carried through, then enter a question and another can be a wait of 5 seconds or more, depending on the speed of your connection.

3) When the image appears, remember that you can move the image up, down or sideways, and make a pincer movement to increase or decrease the zoom level. When the question is a sound, you must press the button> play to listen.

4) Hitting the bird earn points based on the remaining time, ie quicker to respond more points wins.

5) When you miss the game is over. If during the game you are accumulating enough points to appear in the ranking a text will appear in green between its point and time, stating the estimated position you will err if the issue you are on.

6) Beware! At least one of the six options presented by birds question is a "Fake Bird", an invented name of a bird that does not exist! If you select this response beyond the game is over you will have your points cut in half!

For this to occur not be aware of the options and try to play with both hands to avoid false clicks.

7) If you need to perform another task while playing remember that the time for questions keeps running to minimize the app. Set the question and then minimize the app to avoid scares.

8) Some pictures and sounds may have more than one species of bird. Remember that what the game asks is the bird of registration, which may not always be clear in such cases. When it does take a look at alternatives and base your answer on what they present.

9) The game's ranking can be accessed directly on the phone. From the main menu select the Top option and download the same. The 99 best results will be displayed in a list, as well as the amount of hits and the game date.

The Qave makes use of visual and audio features found in wikiaves.com.br site. No authorization was requested for such data to be shown in the application, because to build a significant database, it would take hundreds of users and thousands of photos, making it an unfeasible task. Still added a mention of the author of such records in the upper left corner on each question.

Remember that the app is free and ad-free with the noble purpose of disseminating the hobby of bird watching, promote a revisiting of old records and provide entertainment for anyone, whether a knowledgeable bird or a layman. The more records are available for the app, the game gets more diverse.
