siapa sih yang ga kenal sama Wulandari yang diperankan Siti Badriah? gadis desa yang mempunyai mimpi menjadi penyanyi dangdut terkenal dan ingin mengikuti jejak ibunya Dasiri yang diperankan oleh Firdha Rizki Dendang Cinta Wulan, sayangnya cita-cita tersebut mendapat penentangan dari sang ayah Pak Suma yang diperankan Rachman Yacob karena sang ayah tidak mau anaknya wulan meenjadi penyanyi dangdut seperti ibunya, suatu ketika ayahnya wulan yaitu pak suma yang merupakan nelayan jatuh sakit dan seluruh biaya perawatan pak suma yang tidak sedikit ditanggung oleh juragan kapal pak suma yaitu Barja yang diperankan oleh Teddy Octora, Barja terkenal karena merupakan juragan kapan yang licik dan genit, semua biaya perawatan pak suma bisa lunas asalkan si wulan mau menjadi istri keempak barja.

Dari cerita tersebut lah bermula dendang cinta wulan karena si wulan sendiri mempunyai pasangan kekasih yang sangat baik dan ia cintai bernama Darmaji yang di perankan Rangga Azof, wulan ingin segera lepas dari rayuan barja denagan berusaha melunasi hutang keluarganya, perjuangan wulan lantas menjadi seorang penyanyi dangdut, profesi yang tak disukai ayahnya dan munculah nama Dendang Cinta Wulan.
