Established during the early twentieth in a quaint building at the historic city of Taxila, Taxila Museum holds one of the most significant and comprehensive collections of stone and stucco sculptures from the Buddhist Art of the Gandhara Civilization. Situated in the middle of the numerous archaeological sites scattered around the city, the site museum boasts a rich collection of over 7000 artifacts - including sculptures, relic caskets, inscriptions, beads, jewellery, coins weapons and various other objects of daily use from thousands of years ago.
