Golden Empire Youth Tackle Football & Cheer is Kern County's largest high school feeder program. It was developed for the purpose of providing a competitive football program that would not only encourage outstanding athletic performance, sportsmanship and team play but also give participants an opportunity to play on teams with players in their high school district with whom they will continue playing within high school.

We believe this program will not only help produce some outstanding individual athletes but also help build outstanding high school teams for the future.

Mission Statement

The purpose of this nonprofit organization is to provide a competitive youth tackle football program as well as a non competitive youth cheer program for elementary and junior high school students. The primary goal of this league is to provide a safe and educational training ground for the basic fundamentals of youth football and cheer, to develop sound mind, body and character while promoting an atmosphere of fun for our youth.
