DEFT-Alert on Windows Pc

DEFT-Alert is an emergency alert application, which helps user to connect to their family & friends by just using lock key (hot key) or notification bar in the following ways:

i) Triggering an emergency through SMS/Email.
ii) Check-in location through SMS/Email.
iii) Calling emergency number.


How it works ?

If GPS is Enabled:
When you trigger the functionality, then you can choose either 'Check-In' or 'Emergency', it sends your location to the contacts which are defined in contacts page.

Note: Check-In feature is available only if GPS is enabled.

If GPS is Disabled:
Not to worry, this app will send your nearest cellular tower location.

Hot Key - By clicking the power button for consecutively 3 times, a confirmation pop up will appear on user's screen. On confirming the action, message will be triggered to the contact list saved by the user

Notification Bar - By clicking the DEFT-Alert Notification from Notification Bar, a confirmation pop up will appear on user's screen. On confirming the action, message will be triggered to the contact list saved by the user.

How to use this App ?

Registration - DEFT-Alert asks users to register to the application by entering the Name, Email id and the PIN for registering them on their device.

PIN - It allows you to protect your "DEFT-Alert" against unauthorized access.

Forgot PIN - In-case if user fails to remember the PIN, this feature will help user to retrieve their PIN through the registered email id.

Contact List - DEFT-Alert gives user the flexibility to select maximum of 2 contacts each for Check-In & Emergency to which the user wants to communicate.DEFT-Alert reads the contact list of the user for displaying the name of the contacts while entering the details.

Note: Email id is optional.

Settings: User can edit their profile details and can enable or disable other functionalities.

Help message List - DEFT-Alert allows user to set a select emergency message which is to be send to emergency contact list long with the user location.

Please Note:

* If you wish to use only email while giving contact, then please give mobile number as "0000000000".
* User will be liable for any misuse of this app.
* Registration details will be used internally for stats and referral program.
