[What is ScanSnap Cloud]
ScanSnap Cloud is a service that allows you to quickly, easily, and neatly register various types of paper scanned using the personal document scanner ScanSnap to various cloud services (accounting/personal asset management/business card management/document management/photo management).
With this application, you can easily check the settings for using ScanSnap Cloud and the usage status.

[Required environment]
The following items are required to use ScanSnap Cloud.
Wi-Fi compatible ScanSnap body
● Wi-Fi environment that can connect to the Internet
● Cloud service account you want to use in conjunction

[Features of ScanSnap Cloud]
●If you perform the initial settings with this application, you can automatically classify the data scanned by ScanSnap Cloud and register it to your desired cloud service simply by pressing the scan button on the ScanSnap.

*In the case of iX500, depending on the time of purchase, some may not have a label with the SSID and SECURITY KEY. In this case, be sure to connect to the computer and perform the initial settings.
After performing the initial settings using a computer, you can install this application and use the ScanSnap Cloud functions.

With ScanSnap Cloud, as long as you have a compatible ScanSnap main unit and a Wi-Fi environment that can connect to the Internet, you can scan and register image data in the cloud service without a computer, smartphone, or tablet.
(A computer, smartphone, or tablet is required for setup work, including initial setup.)
●Automatically identifies the type of paper to be read and classifies it into four types: receipts, business cards, photos, and documents. After that, the image data is automatically registered in the cloud service registered for each category.
●Automatically distinguishes paper size, orientation, double-sided/single-sided, color/monochrome to generate optimal image data.
● You can automatically assign an easy-to-understand file name to scanned image data. A file name is automatically generated from the date and title described in the document, the company name and name on the business card, the date on the receipt, etc.
●This application will notify you of the results when ScanSnap Cloud receives the image data and when the image data is registered to the linked cloud service.
●Scanned data is retained on ScanSnap Cloud for two weeks. If the cloud service you are using cannot be used due to maintenance, etc., or if it has been categorized/registered as a service other than your desired service by mistake, you can re-register the image data to the desired cloud service from this application.

*ScanSnap Cloud automatically processes the scanned data using advanced analysis technology, but there is a risk of incorrect processing depending on the content of the paper. After scanning, we recommend that you check whether the image data is properly registered in the desired cloud service.

● Scanned data can be automatically converted to searchable PDF (OCR processing) on ​​ScanSnap Cloud. This makes it possible to search later using the character strings extracted from the manuscript.

*Characters may not be recognized correctly depending on the conditions of the scanned document.
