In this post, I am going to show you how to install Visual Helper (beta) on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're actually playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Visual Helper (beta) using BlueStacks

  1. Download & Install BlueStacks at: http://bluestacks.com
  2. Open the apk file: Double-click the apk file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your apk file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the apk file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. After install, just click Run to open, it works like a charm :D.

How to install Visual Helper (beta) on Windows PC using NoxPlayer

  1. Download & Install NoxPlayer at: http://bignox.com. The installation is easy to carry out.
  2. Drag the apk file to Nox and drop it. The File Manager will show up. Click the Open XXX Folder button under the file sign that turns blue.
  3. Then you will be able to install the apk you just download from your computer to Nox or move/copy the file to other locations in Nox.

Visual Helper ist eine App, die Menschen mit dem Asperger-Syndrom oder ähnlichen Wahrnehmungsproblemen bei alltäglichen, immer wieder kehrenden Aufgaben hilft oder als Unterstützung zum Lernen neuer Tätigkeiten dient.
Als Erinnerungsstütze und Lernhilfe können im Bereich "Anleitungen"" Abläufe oder Galerien erstellt werden. Die Fotos kann man entweder in der App selbst erstellen oder bestehende Bilder aus der eigenen Sammlung auswählen. Dazu kann zu jedem Bild oder Foto eine Notiz hinzugefügt werden.
Der zusätzliche Bereich "Karten" dient dazu, Karten zu gestalten um nachträglich bei schwierigen Situationen darauf zugreifen zu können. Insbesondere bei Sprechblockaden kann dies einen alternativen Kommunikationskanal darstellen. Die Karten können auch zum Üben neuer Lerninhalte gebraucht werden.
Die App wird als Non-Profit Projekt entwickelt. Diesbezüglich sind wir um jegliche Rückmeldung und Unterstützung dankbar.

Visual Helper is an app that helps people with Asperger's syndrome or similar perception problems in daily, recurring tasks, or serves as a support for learning new activities.
To help us remember and learning support in the "Instructions" "processes or galleries can be created. The photos you can either create yourself in the app or select existing photos from your own collection. This can be any picture or photo a note be added.
The extra space "cards" used to make cards to subsequently access in difficult situations it can. In particular, in speech blockages, this can represent an alternative communication channel. The cards can also be used to practice new learning content.
The app is developed as a non-profit project. In this regard, we are grateful for any feedback and support.
