In this post, I am going to show you how to install Фенология on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Фенология using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. The phenological network is a community of enthusiasts, researchers and nature lovers who collect and systematize phenological data from all over Russia and neighboring countries.

The application "Phenology" from Ecosystems is a virtual assistant to the participants of this network. By installing the application on your smartphone or tablet, you can no longer fill out paper forms, but enter the data directly into the application and send it directly to the program coordinators.

The application contains questionnaires on observations of

• Hydrometeorological phenomena of nature,
• phenomena in the plant world,
• Agricultural facilities
• phenomena in the life of animals,

For each observation point (route or area of ​​observation) one observation point form is filled out.

Phenology - is the science of seasonal phenomena of nature, the timing of their occurrence and the causes that determine these terms. The appearance of leaves and the end of leaf fall, the flowering of trees and shrubs, the arrival of birds and the appearance of mushrooms, the first snow and the last frost — the entire train of many seasonal phenomena in nature — these are the phenological phases that are being monitored. In fact, we are all phenologists, because, wittingly or unwittingly, we observe these events in nature around the house, school or in the forest throughout the year.

We hope that this application will increase the number of participants in the phenological network of observations and will allow us to more accurately describe and explain the phenomena occurring in Nature!
