Our hotel is located in Munzingen, the southernmost district of Freiburg. By car it is 14 kilometers, or 20-minute drive to get to the City of Freiburg. Alternatively, several bus lines are available, that will take you easily from the hotel to Freiburg.

The history of Schloss Reinach began in the 17th century - it should therefore do more than 400 years until it became a hotel in Freiburg. In the early days the property at Freiburg was mainly used for agricultural purposes, in 1870 made a terrible fire extensive changes necessary. The later the hotel remodeled in Freiburg manor was completely still until 1969 in operation and belonged to one of the largest in the region.
