What is a QR code?

Reading this code delivers information decrypted by specific players (smartphones, mobile phones, webcam, mobile tablet). The QR is photographed via the onboard camera of the device that decrypts it with a preinstalled application or install.
A short history of QR Code

The QR code is a Japanese invention created in 1994 to Toyota by Denso-Wave company to trace the path of the factory parts. The invention was made public in 1999 under a free license and was the subject of an ISO standard 18004. Ingenious, the QR code is successful quickly with the advent of mobile phones in the 2000s.

France has developed its own QR code format, the flash code, which gives access to the same types of information the QR code but whose pixels are larger. This allows for easier and less shuffle the QR Code, if it is engraved on a rough support.
