Quick help after an accident - that is the aim of the accident reporting service exclusively for those insured with ADAC-AutoVersicherung. This is an accident reporting plug that can be retrofitted quickly and easily in almost any car via the cigarette lighter or the 12V socket. In connection with your smartphone and the ADAC accident reporting app, help is automatically requested in an emergency.

How the accident reporting service works
In the event of a serious accident, sensors in the accident reporting connector detect the collision and the strength of the impact. Your smartphone automatically transmits the location data to the emergency call center using the accident reporting app. In the event of a minor accident or if you witness an accident involving other road users, you can request help manually at the push of a button.

In both cases, an employee of the ADAC-AutoVersicherung Service Center will contact you immediately by phone to clarify the situation. If you are not able to speak to the employee - for example due to a serious injury - the responsible rescue center will be alerted immediately. Because: Quick help can save lives in a traffic accident.

Requirements for using the accident reporting service:
You must be insured with ADAC-AutoVersicherung. To install the accident reporting plug, all you have to do is plug it into the cigarette lighter in the center console and place your smartphone within reach.
